Abstract Among the species of Zingiberaceae family, ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) is best known and studied species, with several reported ornamental, medicinal, culinary properties. Many ornamental genus Zingiber are commonly treated as gingers by analogy. This study provides a list Zingiber, information on synonyms comments aspects.
